For those deathly afraid of a used bar of soap, Moon Rivers Naturals uses the classic oil combination in their bar soaps liquified. They are enhanced with black lava salt and a pinch of activated charcoal for a light detox, and peppermint essential oil to calm your soul and leave your skin with a nice tingle.  This soap is great for face and hands too!

This liquid soap / body wash is so freaking good! It smells amazing (perfect for a morning shower) – the peppermint scent really has a zing to it! And it makes your skin feel super clean but still hydrated. Love it!

Today I have a review of the Citrus Sunflower Uplifting Shower Gel from Andalou Naturals that came in my March Petit Vour box. [info in italics taken from the Petit Vour website]

This skin conditioning gel blends emollient rich rosehip and argan oils with coconut water and gentle cleansing botanicals for fresh, healthy looking skin. Uplifting citrus sunflower delights the senses as superfruit antioxidants and ultra-hydrating aloe vera help protect and uplift skin’s moisture barrier for an invigorating, all-over body treatment.

Andalou Naturals Citrus Sunflower Shower Gel

The packaging would probably be better with a pump, as the shower gel is a little on the runny side, but despite this, it lathers really well. I found it to be hydrating and makes my skin feel clean with no soapy residue left behind.  I love bath and shower products, especially if they have a nice scent, and this one is really bright and awakening, perfect for a sluggish morning! Citrus based scents are always so refreshing!

All in all, yet another bath and body product from Andalou Naturals that I really liked!

Plant Apothecary Get Happy Bodywash

This bodywash smells so amazing and uplifting. It reminds me of the Buff Face and Body Scrub from Wildcraft that I absolutely love (review is here). This is a really lovely and gentle bodywash. Definitely a great one for those dark and cold mornings when you need a little extra oomph to get going!

Hello, hello! Today I have a little review of another Natura Siberica product that was gifted to me on my holiday in Estonia – the Polar Blueberry Beauty Shower Gel. (Info in italics is taken from their website)

 

Polar Blueberry Shower Gel is a source of perfection and purity. It delicately cleanses and pampers skin, providing a boost of vitamins for skin tone and beauty.

Blueberry is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, C, PP, antioxidants and microelements that help to nourish skin.  Arnica contains essential oils and flavonoids that moisturize skin, and have a calming effect, making skin more softer and more velvety. Siberian wild harvested herbs contain vitamins, saponins, phytoncides and tannins which provide a calming effect, help to make the skin velvety and smoother. Faroe islands seaweed is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, E, microelements and iodine, promoting skin deep clarification, the restoration of optimum water balance and saturating skin with minerals, making it firmer and more elastic.

 

Onto the review!

This is a gentle shower gel with a mild natural blueberry and herbal scent. It lathers well and rinses away without leaving the skin feeling stripped, and without leaving a residue feeling. My skin feels clean and hydrated with this beautiful shower gel. I love this one! It works well for my sensitive skin.
