Hello, hello!
Just a little review of the Sunday Riley C.E.O. C+E antiOxidant Protect and Repair Moisturizer. I got it as a deluxe sample using my Beauty Insider points on my birthday haul.

Here’a a description from the Sephora website:
Luxuriously hydrating and scientifically advanced, C.E.O. provides fast-absorbing moisturization without greasiness—protecting during the day and visibly repairing at night. It is enriched with five percent powerful, lipid-soluble, advanced vitamin C (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, the most superior form), which is more stable and less irritating than ascorbic acid and other vitamin C derivatives. Blended with protective, anti-pollution exopolysaccharides and refining lime pearl extract, C.E.O. moisturizes your skin, visibly brightens, supports natural collagen, provides antioxidant support, and expertly fights the five visible signs of environmental and micropollution-induced skin damage: sensitivity, dehydration, dullness, uneven tone, and premature lines and wrinkles.
The ingredient list is super long:
Water, Squalane, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Dicaprylyl Carbonate, C10-18 Triglycerides, PEG-8 Beeswax, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Tapioca Starch, PPG-12 SMDI Copolymer, Polyglyceryl-6 Distearate, Jojoba Esters, Cetyl Alcohol, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Polyglyceryl-3 Beeswax, Lecithin, Glycerin, Microcitrus Australasica Fruit (Lime Pearl) Extract, Butylene Glycol, Alteromonas Ferment Extract (Exopolysaccharides), Phenoxyethanol, Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit (Kakadu Plum) Extract, Bisabolol, Chlorphenesin, Caprylyl Glycol, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Nylon-12, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citric Acid, Sodium Phytate, Tocopherol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Fragrance, Rosa Centifolia Flower Wax, Rosa Damascena Flower Wax, Alcohol Denat (found in botanical extracts), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) Root Extract, Citrus Junos Fruit (Yuzu) Extract, Lippia Citriodora Flower (Lemon Verbena) Extract, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) Fruit, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter Extract, Rosa Canina Fruit (Rosehips)Extract, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Seed Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf (Oolong Tea).
The fragrance, although lovely and sunny smelling, and despite masking the vitamin C scent, makes me unhappy because I don’t like overly scented products for my face.

Is it a nice moisturizer? It isn’t terrible for me, but I don’t love it. I find that my skin is oilier than usual when I wake up in the morning after using this. It doesn’t seem to fully sink into my skin – not even the dry parts! I don’t normally have oily skin, it is more on the normal to dry side.
I don’t know how it plays with makeup or sunscreen as I’ve only been using this at night. I think that this would be best for really dry skin, and might be a disaster for oily skin.
I’m glad that I got a sample of this one instead of splurging on the full size as it is fairly expensive at $85 CAD for 1.7oz / 50g.
Have you tried the C.E.O. Moisturizer from Sunday Riley? Did it work for you?
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
