Three Ships Beauty Soothe Rosehip Vitamin C Clay Mask Review

Three Ships Soothe Rosehip Vitamin C Clay Mask

Hello, hello – welcome to / welcome back to A Brash Attitude.

Today I’m reviewing the Three Ships Beauty Soothe Rosehip Vitamin C Clay Mask. I purchased this for myself during their 5th Birthday Virtual Event [info in italics taken from the Three Ships Beauty website]

Three Ships Soothe Rosehip Vitamin C Clay Mask

French pink clay sounds about as elegant and sophisticated as clay can get – and it is. It’s the mildest clay out there, making this mask perfect for sensitive skin.

Look closer: just because it’s gentle doesn’t mean it goes easy on the appearance of age spots and wrinkles. You can thank the active Vitamin C and carotenoids in rosehip extract for that.

Three Ships Soothe Rosehip Vitamin C Clay Mask

I love facial masks, and this one is great. I love that it is a powder that can be mixed with the liquid of your choice – I particularly like to mix it with the Awake Rose Hydrosol Toner (reviewed here). Skincare with vitamin C works really well for my skin. This mask is great for deep cleaning the skin, but at the same time it is gentle – super great for sensitive skin!

Three Ships Beauty Awake Rose Hydrosol Toner Review

Three Ships Beauty Awake Rose Hydrosol Toner

Hello, hello – welcome to / welcome back to A Brash Attitude!

Today I have a review of the Three Ships Beauty Awake Rose Hydrosol Toner. I purchased it during their 5th Birthday Event, along with the Soothe Rosehip Vitamin C Clay Mask. [info in italics taken from the Three Ships Beauty website]

Three Ships Beauty Awake Rose Hydrosol Toner

Rose hydrosol helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation while also maintaining the skin’s pH balance after cleansing.

Look closer: this toner also contains alcohol-free witch hazel, which shrinks the appearance of pores without leaving your skin feeling tight and parched.

Three Ships Beauty Awake Rose Hydrosol Toner

This toner has a great sprayer – the mist of so fine. And hello – rose! I love rose in skincare. This is a great addition to my skincare routine. I tend to use it more in the morning, but it can be used both morning and night. It is just so fresh!

I can see myself using it as a skin refresher when the weather warms up.

Three Ships Beauty Awake Rose Hydrosol Toner

It only contains 5 ingredients – all of which are vegan (and cruelty free):

*Rosa Damascena (Rose) Distillate, *ᵀAloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, *ᵀHamamelis Virginiana (Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel) Water, Glycerin, *ᵀRosa Canina (Rosehip Extract) [* Non-GMO, ᵀ Organic]

Three Ships Beauty Radiance Day Cream Review

Hello, hello – welcome to / welcome back to A Brash Attitude!

Today I’m reviewing the Three Ships Beauty Radiance Grape Stem Cell + Squalane Day Cream that I purchased during their Black Friday BOGO sale (along with their Dew Drops Serum – review is here).

Three Ships Beauty Radiance Day Cream

When it comes to skincare science, we don’t use the word ‘revolutionary’ lightly – but grape stem cells truly are. They absorb environmental UV radiation throughout the day leaving you with healthy-looking skin. Which is pretty impressive if you ask us.
Look closer: this cream also contains prickly pear, argan oils and natural squalane which hydrate and lock in moisture.

Three Ships Beauty Radiance Day Cream

This day cream is super hydrating without feeling heavy. My skin loves squalane, so I was not surprised how much I love this one! It works really well with the Dew Drops Serum, and with any facial oils that I’ve tried it with so far. It absorbs quickly into my skin and keeps it hydrated all day. This Day Cream is recommended for all skin types.

Three Ships Beauty Dew Drops Serum Review

Three Ships Beauty Dew Drops Serum

Hello, hello – welcome to / welcome back to A Brash Attitude!

Three Ships Beauty Dew Drops Serum

Today I have a review of the Three Ships Beauty Dew Drops Mushroom Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C Serum. I purchased this (and the Radiance Day Cream – review is here) for myself during their Black Friday BOGO Sale. [info in italics taken from the Three Ships Beauty website]

Three Ships Beauty Dew Drops Serum

Does your skin need a boost of hydration? We’ve got you covered. Our serum champions tremella mushrooms – a natural source of hyaluronic acid that replenishes moisture deep in the skin.
Look closer:
this serum also contains Kakadu plum, which is packed with 100x more Vitamin C than oranges to brighten and plump up the skin.

Three Ships Beauty Dew Drops Serum

This is a water based serum, and works really well to hydrate and brighten my skin. My skin does really well with hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, so this is the perfect serum. It feels a little on the slimy side when first applied, but it absorbs quickly (and the slimy feeling disappears). And, it doesn’t have that weird scent that some vitamin C serums have.

This serum can be used with all skin types – as long as you don’t have a sensitivity / allergy to any of the ingredients. Always do a patch test!

Three Ships Beauty Dew Drops Serum

Three Ships Beauty Dream Bio-Retinol + Shorea Butter Night Cream Review

Three Ships Beauty Dream Bio-Retinol Night Cream

Hello, hello – welcome to / welcome back to A Brash Attitude!

Three Ships Beauty Dream Bio-Retinol Night Cream

Today I’m reviewing the newly launched Dream Bio-Retinol + Shorea Butter Night Cream from Three Ships Beauty, a Canadian cruelty free and vegan skincare brand. I purchased it for myself using my discount code during their Virtual Launch Event back in October (and re-stocked my Purify Aloe + Amino Acid Cleanser). [info in italics taken from the Three Ships Beauty website]

Three Ships Beauty Dream Bio-Retinol Night Cream

Our new night cream works to encourage skin cell turnover and even out skin tone, leaving your skin feeling softer and smoother overnight. The key? A super gentle, plant-based retinol from Picão Preto – a medicinal herb that’s native to Brazil.

Look closer: Vegan squalane and seed butters like Shorea and Murumuru give this product a nice creamy texture that seals in moisture.

Three Ships Beauty Dream Bio-Retinol Night Cream

The Dream Night Cream is not at all drying or irritating like traditional retinol serums and creams can be. I think that the combination of the bio-retinol with the squalane and seed butters that make it so hydrating and non-irritating. It is lightweight, and non-greasy. I can see this night cream working for pretty much all skin types – unless you have a sensitivity to one of the ingredients. And unlike traditional retinol based skincare, this cream can be used during pregnancy / breast-feeding.

One of the really cool things about this brand is that on their website they have an ingredient glossary so you can familiarize yourself with ingredients AND where they are sourced.

Three Ships Beauty Purify Aloe + Amino Cleanser Review

Three Ships Beauty Purify Aloe + Amino Acid Cleanser

Hello, hello – welcome to / welcome back to A Brash Attitude!

Today I am reviewing the Three Ships Beauty Purify Aloe + Amino Cleanser. I purchased this a few weeks ago in my most recent well.ca mini haul. I’ve been using this gel based cleanser for a few weeks now. [info in italics taken from the Three Ships Beauty website]

Three Ships Beauty Purify Aloe + Amino Acid Cleanser

Natural amino acids replenish your skin’s moisture barrier, cleansing without stripping your skin of its natural oils. Containing zero alcohol, this formula contains 26% aloe vera, proven to hydrate and soothe your skin.

This cleanser is targeted for normal to dry skin, and is supposed to balance tone. It is super gentle, and you really only need one (maybe two) pumps of this foaming cleanser. Purify works well to clean my skin and not leave it feeling dry, stripped or irritated. It does a great job at removing makeup and sunscreen.

Three Ships Beauty Purify Aloe + Amino Acid Cleanser

This is a great cleanser for sensitive skin (unless you have a sensitivity / allergy to one of the ingredients). Purify also works well for double cleansing, in which case I like to use an oil or cream based cleanser in conjunction with this gel based cleanser.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Aloe Vera Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Populus Tremuloides (Aspen) Bark Extract, Betaine, Saccharomyces Ferment (Yeast) Filtrate, Cellulose Gum, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Xanthan Gum, Inulin, Cellulose, Glucose, Fructose, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Sodium PCA, Sodium Lactate, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, PCA, Glycine, Alanine, Serine, Valine, Proline, Threonine, Isoleucine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Citrus Auranitum Bergamia (Bergamot) Oil, Sodium Phytate, Citric Acid

Three Ships Lip Treatment Kit Review

Hello, hello – welcome to / welcome back to A Brash Attitude!

Today I’m reviewing the Three Ships Lip Treatment Kit that came in my Spring CAUSEBOX. As you all know, I adore lip products, so I had high hopes for this. [info in italics taken from the Three Ships website, and kit packaging]

Here’s a little bit of info about this Toronto based, Canadian brand:

We embrace this less is more mindset and use this philosophy to chart our course as a company. We believe you don’t need a long list of unnecessary ingredients in your skincare products, and you don’t need a 12 step skincare routine to achieve beautiful results.

[…]

Our goal was to solve the problems we faced as consumers and create the most effective and affordable natural skincare products available.

This is why every Three Ships product is made with 100% natural ingredients and is certified cruelty-free. It’s why nothing goes to market unless it has been scientifically proven to work. And it’s why all of our products will forever be under $40 USD.

The Three Ships Lip Treatment Kit is composed of the Vanilla Lip Exfoliator, and the Buttercream Hydrating Lip Mask. Let’s look at the Lip Exfoliator first:

This triple-action scrub exfoliates and conditions lips. Fine sugar crystals remove dry skin / flakes and make lips look plump and full while natural shea butter and oils hydrate and soothe. This scrub contains zero artificial colors and is naturally flavoured with vanilla.

This is a beautiful lip scrub, it mega exfoliates, but at the same time adds so much hydration. My lips are SO SMOOTH after I use this!

Now, let’s take a look at the Buttercream Hydrating Lip Mask:

Natural oils of sunflower, coconut and avocado deeply replenish moisture to dry lips. Use overnight for extra soft lips when you wake up.

As a lip balm addict, this lip mask is a DREAM! So hydrating. It can be used night and day!

The combination of the scrub and mask is the perfect recipe for achieving soft and smooth lips!

Have you tried this kit?
