For an easy, everyday makeup look, this lightweight face highlighter blends effortlessly into the skin to define your best features, or try combining it with moisturizer or foundation for an allover, healthy glow. The Luminzer is available in two shades: Star Light and Golden Hour. Star Light is a silvery pink toned highlighter, and Golden Hour is a peachy golden toned highlighter. These are very easy to apply either with fingers or a brush. They also work great mixed into foundation. Both shades are beautiful and wearable – shimmery without being glittery – I find myself reaching for them whenever I wear makeup.

Last month I attended a virtual event for the launch of the Burt’s Bees Sensitive Solutions line, and received a goodie bag with their new Gentle Cream Cleanser and Gentle Day Lotion, along with some other treats that I’ll talk about another time. If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you will know that my skin is on the sensitive side, so this line is of particular interest to me. They also launched a Gentle Eye Cream, Night Cream and an SPF30 Gentle Day Lotion. The line has received the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance.

Gentle Cream Cleanser:

Burt's Bees Sensitive Solutions - Gentle Facial Cleanser

I love cream based cleansers, especially if my skin is feeling dry, or particularly sensitive. It is also great for doing a double cleanse – which I like to do if I’m wearing a lot of makeup or sunscreen. Very soothing and gentle.

Gentle Day Lotion:

Clinically shown to moisturize sensitive skin all day without causing redness or irritation, Burt’s Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream provides soothing natural skin care for sensitive skin. Rice extract and aloe moisturize and soothe your sensitive skin, while cotton extract helps replenish your skin’s outer layer and protect it from potential irritants. This moisturizer has everything my skin needs. It is lightweight, super hydrating, but not at all greasy. Helps to calm redness. Plays nicely with makeup too!

When the SPF30 comes out this month (June 2022), I plan to purchase it.

If you follow me on InstaGram, you will have seen that I attended the Keratinworks Self Care Pampering Virtual Event with BlendPR. Attendees received a box of self care pampering goodies, and today I’m reviewing the Boscia Luminizing Charcoal Mask [info in italics taken from the Boscia website]

This is the first peel off mask that I’ve tried, and it is really good! It helps to deep clean your pores, and clear out blackheads – which comes in handy as my nose has been getting more blackheads than normally, likely due to wearing masks. And because it contains Vitamin C, it will also help brighten my skin.
